Yesterday I was looking through some photos of my trip to the States and came across one that I took at my friends’ place in Texas. They had a quote written on their wall. And you know how I love quotes! This one said, “Enjoy the little things for one day you may look back and realise they were the big things.” How true is that! It was a quote from Robert Brault. I googled him today and found a whole lot of other great sayings which he said could be shared so long as it wasn’t for profit. So I’m going to share some of them on this page over the next few days. They’ll make you think, and I hope some of them will make you laugh. Being an optimist myself I enjoyed one of his definitions of an optimist. Optimist: someone who figures that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster, it’s a cha-cha.
