Yesterday Chris mentioned that he heard a farmer speaking about his farm at a farming conference. He told his listeners, “When things go wrong on the farm, beware of the three ugly sisters. They’ll stop you getting over the problems and getting ahead.”
Their names? Blame, Denial and Anger.
It reminds me of a quote I put in one of my books. “More people would learn from our mistakes if they weren’t so busy denying them.” Harold J. Smith. Well said, Harry!
Here’s a couple more quotes:
“If you could kick the person in the pants responsible for most of your trouble, you wouldn’t sit for a month.” Anon
“All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame him, it will not change you.” Wayne Dyer
